Celebrating 22 years in Manila's Best Italian Restaurant
As I turned 22, the family and I celebrated my birthday by having an intimate, quiet dinner in one of Manila's kept secret (literally)
Being ranked as Manila's Best Kept Secret's pick for Best Italian Restaurant of 2010, we knew we would be in good hands! :D Of course, L'incontro did not disappoint!
Basil and Tomato Dip

Carpaccio di Manzo Wagyu
Thinly sliced Wagyu with Truffle Balsamic Glaze, Parmesan, and Arugula
With a bias towards carpaccio, the choice of Wagyu just made everything even more special
Crepella ai Funghi e Tartufo
Crepe stuffed with smoked ham and cheese drenched in heavenly black truffle and mushroom sauce
With the perfect pairing of truffle and mushroom, this appetizer is definitely a must try!

topped with mushroom and glazed potatoes on the side

New Zealand Lamb Chops on a bed of vegetable rissoni and fresh mint pesto
Spinach Tagliatelle Tartufo en Prosciutto
Homemade Spinach pasta with truffle cream sauce and Proscuitto
Nothings more comforting than creamy pasta with proscuitto! At first the pasta and sauce seemed a bit bland but when mixed altogether.. The proscuitto added just the right amount of salt and flavor that the dish needed. Perfection!
Risotto Osso Bucco
Saffron Risotto topped with braised lamb shank and roasted bone marrow
Sinful and deadly..yet oh so divine!
The bone marrow was perfectly roasted
and was complimented perfectly by the texture and flavors of the risotto.
Gorgonzola Cheesecake
topped with candied walnuts and grapes
a very light and airy dessert with just the right amount of sweetness and aroma from the gorgonzola
nothing too overpowering

Italian Classic
Everything was simply scrumptious (and foodgasmic)! What I admire about L'incontro is that they play well with balancing flavors and texture. Every element of each dish complimented each other and made everything just simply delicious!
