Aside from celebrating Tita Nitz's birthday, another highlight of the nigh was this amazing Chocolate Decadence cake!

Rich and fudgy mini chocolate cakes frosted with a deep, chocolate ganache which is then finished off with a caramel drizzle. 

This dessert was just so amazing that I think I had 3 of these... I lost count..

A frozen coffee concoction that's rich and velvety, capped of with a generous topping of a whipped cream cheese mixture that definitely gives you a white moustache after each sip.

A special treat for me since frozen coffee drinks are the only way to enjoy coffee during this scorching summer season. Mixed with a cream cheese topping which makes for a salty-sweet irresistible combination!

Really regret only trying this now when I'm no longer a student..

Chili's Big Mouth Burger Day

After catching the premiere of Iron Man 3, the gang and I just had enough time to head over to Chili's and avail of Big Mouth Burger Day just before the day ended.

Exactly the same, good BBQ Ranch burger, but for Php 150 against its original Php 385 price tag.. The burger tasted even better than before!!

After a long week at work, decided to treat myself for some Korean "street food". Luckily DC Mart offers home cooked korean dishes right by the check out counter so all I have to do is take them home and reheat them. Was initially just in the mood for some tteokbooki but I couldn't resist the sight of the kimari which is basically japche wrapped in seaweed and then deep fried in batter until golden brown and crunchy.

A hearty, carbo-loaded, Korean meal without me having to turn on the stove!

TAI's Best Chocolate Cake

Finally got to visit TAI's Best in Molito for an afternoon meeting.

For a while I've been wondering who TAI was but as it turns out, TAI stands for Toyota Alabang Incorporated. Im not sure if this is true, but a friend told me that the Toyota Alabang dealership used to be known for having a really cafeteria which they decided to turn into a full blown restaurant, thus, TAI's Best was born.

You must really try their chocolate cake. If you like it simple, fudge, and just downright chocolatey just like how your mom and grandma would have made it, this is the cake for you!

They also serve really good main dishes such as the paella negra, laing, and sole fish with spinach béchamel sauce. I wasn't able to take any pictures though because our group was too hungry that we just dug in instantly.

One think I would definitely try during my next visit is their highly recommended Baby Back Ribs.
