turning Japanese..
After some pre-grad functions in school, a few of my friends wanted to have lunch out together thinking that these might be one of those rare occasions that we'd be able to have lunch together. This was the perfect time to try something new and head over to Maginhawa!
Straight to the point menu with very affordable prices!
Chicken Katsu
Almost the entire table ordered this spicy specialty. Not only was the deconstructed take on katsu very interesting, but the addition of spice got me very intrigued!
However since I was trying to stay away from rice, I wasn't sure if i was up for the heat and be able to resist rice.
Sukiyaki
I wanted to have some soup so I opted for this. Not only were they generous with the meat, which was very tender, but they were able to get the soup just right. Had the right amount of sweetness which kept the soup feel light.
Crazy Katsu really kept true to their name! Crazy good food renditions at crazy affordable prices! Definitely worth a try!
