An appointment with the Man of Steel

Since mom and I spent the entire day at the mall, we were passing by the cinemas on the way to the car when we saw that there were still available tickets to the evening showing of Man of Steel is currently the hottest ticket in town. Since it was usually next to impossible to get a ticket for this movie, mom immediately got us tickets and asked dad and Sher to meet us after work.

With not much time left before the movie, we decided to give Quiznos a try for a quick dinner.

The Traditional

Roast Beef, Chicken Breast, and Ham topped with olives, lettuce, and tomatoes. Generously smothered with ranch and melted cheddar.

Pulled Pork with BBQ Sauce

Slow roasted pulled pork with a sweet and smokey bbq sauce.

Chicken Carbonara

A mix of chicken, smokey bacon, and sauteed mushrooms topped with a Parmesan Alfredo sauce and mozzarella cheese.

What's really cool with Quiznos is that they're significantly generous with the amount of meat that they put in their sandwiches. You definitely won't get just a single layer of ham or meat and then mounds of veggies on top which tends to happen especially with restaurant imports here in Manila.

My favorite has to be the traditional because just like what the name hints at, this sandwich gives you all of your classic sandwich ingredients packed in out sandwich overloaded with meat and cheese. I also really liked the pulled pork sandwich however my parents found the bbq sauce a bit too sweet rather than tangy. The Chicken Carbonara was something I was really excited to try since I do love the pasta version. The flavors of a classic carbonara was there however I found the sandwich to be a bit dry with the bread absorbing much of the Alfredo sauce.

Looking forward to what else this new sandwich  hotspot down south has to offer..

But now its time for Man of Steel!
