Revisiting: Sensei

 Back for more!!

With the taste still lingering in my head from our last visit, I couldn't wait to go back and try the other offerings from Sensei. Luckily, I got my family so intrigued that they suggested we have dinner there.

While we ordered most of what I already ordered with my friends, we also got to try a few new dishes.

Soft Shell Crab Roll

A roll filled with crispy, deep fried soft shell crab drizzled with a spicy aioli-like sauce which gave the perfect amount of kick.

 Tuna Tartare

Marinated Fresh Tuna Sashimi served on a bead of deep fried, battered spinach. I really liked the clever idea of using deep fried kangkong instead of the usual crispy wantons coz it gave the dish a much more organic flavor. I would've preferred though for the tuna tartare to have a little heat. Nothing a little wasabi couldn't fix.

Grilled Salmon Head

A beautifully grilled (and may I say large) salmon head. Served with fresh, grated radish which is the perfect, cooling pairing for any grilled fish. I also liked the addition of aioli on the side which helped balance the sweet flavors of the sauce which was used to baste the salmon head.

Definitely my new favorite place!
