Ciggs and Booze

This may seem strange but its the first time that we actually drank alcohol and smoked in school. Even weirder that it was inside the classroom during class!

Before you get ahead of yourselves....its not really a pack of ciggs but an interesting pack of ChupaChups! Cool huh?!

Chupa Chups!

Aki modeling the pack...

This all happened during Ana's class presentation where Cris, Aki and I helped her present the wonderful land of Ukraine. After Ana's presentation, her classmate did a presentation on Russia. We were just playing Russian Roulette and then before you knew it.. we were all taking shots! Yes, we really drank vodka in class! If only all classes were like this! hahahahha!

Wicked

Ultimate bonding with Karen! Hahahahahaha!

Even though there were no classes today it being Quezon City Day, Karen and I, being the very responsible students that we are (yeah right haha) still went to school to work on orgs stuff. So while killing time after our morning meeting, Karen just had to satisfy her craving for some Wicked Oreos from Flaming Wings. Being such a good friend, I went with her.

There's Karen

And her Wicked Oreos

These batter-coated oreos served ala mode with a little dusting of cinnamon are really really good yet really sinful too! Hahahahaha! But once in a while you just have to satisfy the craving for them!

All for now,

7 again

After trying out one of the treats found on the Magnificent 7 menu from Palms with Sher, I decided to make mom and dad try them out after Sunday mass.

This time, we wanted to try out the main dishes found in the menu. Dad just had a steamed Lapu-lapu while mom and I went a little more indulgent hahahaha!

Mom ordered the Chilean Salmon with grilled vegetable salad

While I ordered the US Oyster Blade with Bleu Cheese

They both had really great presentations and the flavors we're very very good! Definitely a must try especially since the menu if for a good cause (50 pesos from each dish goes to charity)

p.s.

ATENEO WON! :)

Omakase Holiday

Sorry for the backlog...school's been so hectic.

Anyways, Just wanted to share with you guys what we did during the sudden holiday to commemorate President Aquino's funeral. I spent the whole day practically studying and taking breaks to catch the glimpse of the funeral.

For dinner though, my family and I decided to eat in Omakase in town. Surprisingly, it was empty! I guess everyone was at home watching or on the streets.

In Omakase, four of us shared a TOP platter

And one order of beef and chicken tepan

It may have seem little for four of us, but towards the end, we still ended up begging each other to take the last piece of sushi hahahahaha!

That's all for now,

Magnificent 7

Sis and I went to Palm last night to have dinner last Saturday. While going through the usual choices, we were given the menu of the month which was entitled "Magnificent 7".

We opted to have the dessert which had caramelized pears sitting on top of a decadent piece of chocolate cake and topped of with a thin crunchy slice of pear.

What's great about this dessert was that, not only was it really good, but it (along with the other dishes found on the Magnificent 7 menu) is actually for a good cause. 50 pesos from any dish found on the menu would actually be donated to charity. So not only are you treated to a very good meal or dessert, but you are actually giving back as well.

The Magnificent 7 menu would be available in Palms Country club for the whole month of August.:D

Freshly Picked!

Dad just got back from the states and brought along with him a box full of fresh cherries!

...cherry cherry...

...boom boom... hahaha!

Sher and I immediately opened the box and grabbed a cherry after dad took it out of the suitcase. It was amazing how the cherries were still so cold from the plane air conditioning it was as if we got the box from the fridge. What a great thing to wake up to!
