Before heading to an ultimate birthday celebration in Subic, the family decided on having an intimate dinner before the weekend festivities to come. Unfortunately it was just the four of us but there was a seat especially reserved for Car so she still was not missed hahaha :D
Since dad wanted a peaceful and intimate dinner, he brought us to Je Suis Gourmand which was a quaint French bistro and deli in Makati.
We started with a selection of hams and cheeses

I had the Evenings special which was duck confit
Unfortunately the confit was smothered with lentils so it is a bit difficult to appreciate in the photo
Nevertheless, it was still delicious!
For desert we had a citrus soufflé
and
Cointreau Sorbet which was impeccable!
Definitely a favorite!
Nothing is more intimate than French dining. Happy Birthday again Dad! To more birthdays to come!
