start with taking the chicken..
and shred it into bite sized pieces..
Boil some penne
Now for the sauce.. let's start with a rue by melting a few tbsps of butter
Scoop about 2 tsbps of flour to the melted butter and let the mixture cook so that you wen't end up with raw flour taste
Strain the Adobo sauce into the rue
and you end up with a nicely thickened pot of pasta sauce!
Now back to the chicken.. Start by sauteing some garlic in olive oil
dump in the chicken flakes
and fry until crispy and the garlic has browned beautifully
time to plate
Drizzle a little bit of the sauce into the pasta
top with Garlic Adobo Flakes
and lunch is served!
Crispy, Garlicky, and flavorful.. a few things i would change would be adding cream to the sauce to dilute the rather strong flavors of the adobo sauce and to also use spaghetti instead of penne coz I think the penne was a bit to heavy in texture and taste for the adobo flakes.
Off to a good start..
