A Hollywood must!
Our stay at Universal may have been short and sweet, but now its time to move on to our next adventure.. a food related one!
An institution in its own right, Pink's is the legendary hotdog hotspot where famous personalities not only grab a hotdog, but actually make one. Seriously, reading the menu is like reading everyone's name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and then some..
as if lining up in Universal wasn't enough.. but I'm sure this wait would be worth it.
Had my eyes set on Martha Stewart!
Didn't realize she was into 10 inches lol
Despite the long line, we were lucky that the seats by the back were actually empty.
Martha Stewart. Emeril Lagasse. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa
Martha Stewart was try "A good thing", filled with tangy freshness from relish, tomatoes, and sour cream. Of course with the classic hot dog touches of onions, sauerkraut, and yes, bacon
Emeril Lagasse's was actually a smaller, 9 incher but still filled with a lot of goodies such as cheese, onions, jalapenos, bacon, and coleslaw.
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa ceratinly packed a mean much. Aside from the huge 10 inch polish sausage, this hotdog is filled with Mexican influences beginning with the guacamole combined with tomotoes, lettuce, grilled onions, and of course, bacon!
and then there was JAWS
A burger topped with a polish sausage, bacon, chili, cheese, lettuce, and tomato.
Definitely a mouthful!
as if we didn't order enough..time for the fries
Bacon Ranch and Chili Cheese Fries
Both really good on their own, we actually discovered that these two are even more awesome when combined and mixed well together!
Pink's was just as awesome as expected, taking old good hotdogs, and spicing things up by the amazing (and amount) of toppings that they put.
But not more time to expound on it for its time to go on to our next food venue!
