A far cry from the milk that comes out of a carton.
Still on a rave about Pink's, we decided end our night in tinseltown with milk and cookies..
That of course meaning Milk as one of the hottest dessert places in Los Angeles and cookies represented by French Macarons!
and yet another line..
With a line stretching the entire block and the cafe still filled with avid diners at 11 in the evening meant that we were in the right place.
inching our way to the counter.. luckily the ice cream freezer was very distracting
Finally got out hands on these babies!
Red Velvelt, Blueberry,
and the Grasshopper (Mint and Dark Chocolate combo)
My favorite!
A rich vanilla ice cream filled with bits of red velvet cake, sandwiched in between two large french macarons, and then dipped in white chocolate.
I have to give kudos to Milk for getting their ice cream to the perfect consistency in which it remained creamy even when frozen and did not melt until bitten and already in your stomach. The french macaron cookies were also the perfect choice for these ice cream sandwiches since they kept soft even when frozen and crumbled even more beautifully if I may say.
Milk was definitely something worth waiting in line for and the perfect way to end our awesome night in tinseltown.
Surely one for the books!
