Was going through pictures of our recent travels and I couldn't believe I forgot to share our visit to the Twosome Coffee + Siwon Pop up cafe.
During our trip to Korea last March, the family and I were finally on the last day of our trip and was doing last minute shopping rounds in Myeongdong as we waited for our flight. After hours of wandering around, we all had a sudden craving for coffee and some sweet treats. Luckily right in front of us was the Twosome Coffee + Siwon pop-up cafe.
So no.. despite me being a kpop fan/suju fan, our visit was not mainly pushed because of it but rather it was due to the search for a good coffee place to hang out in haha!
The first time I actually got to try Twosome Coffee was during my first visit to Seoul a couple of years back and it was in their branch at the Namsan Seoul Tower.
Really liked the warm yet industrial interiors
From what i've heard, The Twosome Coffee + Siwon pop-up cafe was a collaboration that was geared towards helping Siwon's chosen charities. The pop-up cafe was designed to be opened for three months and with which the profits from goods sold such as coffee, sandwiches, and the various desserts, would be donated to the chosen charities.

Found myself to be drinking a lot of this during our trip and I must say Twosome prepares one of the best ones!
Cheesecake
Really liked that Twosome was able to find the right balance of a light and airy cake but still maintaining that rich, deep flavor of cream cheese which is usually hard to achieve when making cheesecake since there is a tendency to sacrifice texture for more flavor.

an art installation which was a collaboration between Siwon and artist Kim Hong-Rok.
So with the main purpose of our visit being the search for a good coffee shop (haha still defensive), Twosome Coffee definitely falls under the category of a truly good coffee shop with a wide variety of desserts and really good array of different coffee beans from all over the world.
Unfortunately, I was told that the pop-up cafe already closed last April 30.
Hopefully they bring this pop-up back to life!
But for the meantime, I now have the perfect excuse to go back up to Namsan haha!
