Happy Sopong

Still day one in Seoul and we've done so many things...

After a post-shopping run in the local stores of Myeondong, we passed by Happy Sopong which was just a block away from Ibis. Being amazed by how the sandwiches were shaped like fishes, we just had to go in and try it.

Happy Sopong!

I don't know what Sopong truly means but if i got it right, it is simply a grilled sandwich where after grilling, the sandwich press forms the bread into a fish shape which not only makes the sandwich look very festive and fun, but it actually allows a lot of room for stuffing to be placed inside

Happy Sopong has a wide variety of sandwich filling.
I opted for the bulgogi filling to keep things "traditional"
*Forgive the blurry picture

I must say that bulgogi in Korea tastes very different from what we have back home. I was told that it has something to do with the local peaches that is incorporated into the bulgogi that gives it a different kind of sweetness. For my sandwhich, the veggies have already been incorporated into the bulgogi filling.

Very Happy Tourists :D
