Cookie Butter

Since I'm the type of person who enjoys eating peanut butter by spoonfuls and straight from the jar, I insanely had to get my hands on a jar of cookie butter and see if I would be able to enjoy it just like my favorite peanut butter.

And boy did I enjoy it! Gingerbread and Biscuits pulverized into a smooth, creamy, irresistible delight. Perfectly good by the spoonful, I also learned that this is also best paired with your favorite chocolate cupcake. I so happen to have Larcy's Cupcakes in the pantry so a dollop of cookie butter made a bite of the cupcake even more awesome.

 While taking my cousins around Greenhills, I stumbled across Koolstix conviniently located by the overrun apparel (?!)

Chocolate Froyo filled Chocolate Barquillos!

With barquillos being a traditional ice cream topper (at least here in the Philippines), I was amazed that someone came up with the clever idea of placing the ice cream directly inside these delicate wafer sticks.

These should come in handy especially in our tropical country!

Coconut Macaroons + Custard = Custaroons!!

I've been hearing alot of rave reviews about Gigi's Custaroons for quite some time now but was only able to try it over the holidays. I figured that there was no better time to order and try these little babies but with my foodie cousins from the states. 

A sweet melange of coconut macaroons and leche-flan-like custard that's just perfectly sweet and insanely delicious. Every bite is as heavenly as the next (however guilt comes after the 5th bite haha)

I'll start with my new year's resolution tomorrow.. or maybe the day after that..
