Buon Giorno

An "Italian" Tagaytay Getaway

I accompanied my parent's as they brought one of my mom's closest friends around Tagaytay. To top off the day's festivities, dinner in Buon Giorno seemed only suitable!



Limonada

Shrimp Bisque
My favorite soup ever since before when we used to visit Buon Giorno more often
Had the perfect creamy consistency with a slightly smokey flavor






Spaghetti Aglio Olio
The family's favorite oil-based pasta
Truly lets the sundried tomato-basil-garlic combination take center stage






Seafood Puttanesca
This spicy take on a classic dish was a pleasant surprise

Proscuitto a Funghi

We adore Buon Giorno pizza's for their incredibly thin crust and simple, Italian flavors!
Would have very much preferred though if the Proscuitto a Funghi was topped with wild mushroom rather than button mushrooms. 






Osso Bucco
A new addition to the menu
This was not yet part of the menu during our last visit, but the osso bucco surely is a great addition. Well blended flavors and very tender beef medallions. The risotto was a perfect pairing for this dish.



Thankfully some good things never change!
