Shi Lin

Shi Lin Xiao Long Bao now down south..

With the parents out of the house partying..Big sis was nice enough to treat me for dinner! Luckily we didn't have to go so far thanks to the opening of Alabang Town Center's new wing. With my sister's constant craving for xiao long bao, this made our decision easy..hence Shi Lin!

A simply and quaint chinese bistro, Shi Lin offers a no fuss no muss kind of dining. A simple menu makes dish selection very easy. But don't let this fool you because despite the simplicity, Shi Lin made sure to only offer their specialties.

Noodles with Spicy Sesame and Peanut Sauce
A chinese take on pad thai..
with very similar peanut and sesame flavors
but minus the meat and vegetables incorporated in pad thai.
Like!

Plumberry Iced Tea
The flavors were promising, however the tea was watered down a bit too much..

Drunken Chicken
a cold cut selection... a simple yet tasty dish
if only it was served with ginger sauce..HAHA!

Xiao Long Bao
And for their specialty, Shin Lin definitely did not disappoint!
Perfectly steamed.. the dumplings were nestled in a perfect wanton wrapper which was soft and just thick enough to keep the broth inside! and for the price of Php 230 for 10 pieces.. Two thumbs up!!

I have a feeling we'd be visiting Shi Lin quite often..
