Calamari with stuffed eggplant
Really liked the freshness of the cheese filling of the eggplant and the superbly tender calamari serve with a very subdued aioli
Mushroom Bisque
a very rich, boldly flavoured soup
actually wanted a second helping haha
Osso Bucco with mashed potatoes
Tender leg of beef magnificently flavoured with Italian herbs and spices
and for dessert..
Chef Robby's Special Gelato
The BEST gelato I've had!!
I can't explain how the gelato was incredibly creamy, almost velvety in texture, but still was able to maintain a certain lightness which goes well with the zesty flavors with an underlying note which I believe is mango.
serving this on a bed of crushed, roasted nuts was just genius!!
What an amazing lunch! Now if I could only get that gelato by the gallon....
