HRD Coffee Shop

A diner, a coffee shop, and a Korean restaurant all rolled into one.

After watching an episode of watching Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives; my cousins and I have been meaning to check out HRD Coffee Shop for quite some time until recently when we finally just decided to get in a car and drive towards downtown and finally have lunch in HRD Coffee Shop.

From the outside and even upon entering, HRD seems like your traditional (or should I say old-school) diner that has the homey, place-after-clubbing vibe lol. But one cant find pancakes and coffee here for HRD Coffee Shop is known for their modern interpretation of Korean and Chinese flavors, melding these into something new and easy-going.

 Spicy Pork Kimchi Burrito

Although a burrito is the typical route take when talking about Korean fusion dishes, HRD does their version impeccably well with a fair mix of flavorful and tender spicy pork, Kimchi rice, and traditional burrito fixins such as guacamole.

 Spicy Pork Bibimbap

A traditional looking bibimbap but made awesome by the sheer amount of spicy pork which occupies most of the rice bowl. Delicious and very satisfying!

 Korean Loco Moco

Spicy Kimchi Rice topped with a large burger patty, sunny-side up eggs, and gravy. A smorgasbord of favorite forced to fit in one large platter.

A truly awesome place serving a vast array of well thought of fusion dishes. I just hope that I get to try that pork chop dish that was showed in Diners,Drive-ins,and Dives someday.
