Ramen Kuroda

the sun may be scorching hot, but that doesn't stop us from having ramen!

With the rest of the family being at work today, mom invited me to lunch so that we could spend the day just us two. Also so that she had an excuse to try out this new ramen place she's been hearing about in BF since Dad and Sher aren't really that big into ramen these days especially after their frequent business trips to Tokyo.

Ramen Kuroda boasts its affiliation with the reputable Japanese resturant, Nerima Isshi.

Kuro Chashumen

Full bodied and beautifully flavored tonkotsu broth topped with tender pork chashu. I really like how the broth was aromatic, almost milky in consistency yet the flavors are magnificently incorporated into a smooth, singular flavor that does not have overpowering taste of fat. I also liked how they opted to use a soft boiled Ajutsuke Tamago egg since it just doesnt feel right when some simply place a slice of hard boiled egg in their ramen.

Another plus from Ramen Kuroda is that you can get a second helping of noodles when your order just simply wasn't enough to satisfy your craving.

and some Red Bean Kaki Gori

Sweet, velvety red bean served on ice.

Simple, clean, really good!!

Ramen Kuroda is certainly a new place that is a must try and and the same time a must come back to!
