A French favorite has found its new home in the Philippines!
Imediately after hearing that Eric Kayser has opened its doors in Manila, I began searching the location and clearing my schedule just so that I can get my hands on what is known by mouth as truly one of the best chocolate croissants in the world.
Chocolate croissants may be a simple danish filled with chocolate but just like any other baker and foodie would know, it is always the simplest dish that is the hardest to perfect. So for Eric Kayser, the renowned French baker was able to master his technique in creating the perfect chocolate croissant. The perfect balance of light and airy combined with a very generous helping of chocolate in its center, these chocolate croissants would definitely be your favorite after one bite.

I'm sure the butter croissant is equally good, but what I'm really after is that basket beside it.
Best enjoyed slightly toasted together with a cup of tea or coffee, these babies would definitely make you hear the hallelujah chorus.
I was so excited to eat them that I wasn't even able to take a picture of my purchase.
oh well.. *burp*
