taking inspiration from Auntie Giada
Thanks to food network replays, I found something to make for lunch with ingredients I could find in my sister's pantry which meant i didnt have to leave the condo and have lunch somewhere since I was a bit lazy to go out.
Taking inspiration from Giada De Laurentis's Italian Egg Sandwich.. I whipped up my own versions thanks to a small cup of frozen pasta sauce, proscuitto slices in the fridge, day-old french bread, and lots of baby spinach
I started by re-cooking my sister's meat sauce
Adding proscuitto always does the trick!
On the serving bowl I placed 4 slices of French Bread which I actually toasted with a little of drizzle of olive oil. Follow up by placing a couple of handfulls of baby spinach on top.
Place sauce on the bed of spinach
Finish of with a sunny-side up egg!
