Mom and Tina's

Last on the bandwagon

The Regis Center was big news for us Ateneans ( and of course for everyone living in Katipunan) ever since it opened late last year. Offering a hangout place for students filled with new restaurants to try, I chose to be an outcast and still enjoyed my packed lunch in the cafeteria while others would brave the lines at Regis during break.

Now that I'm already a graduate, it was only today that I decided to step foot in Regis upon my friend's request to have lunch at Mom and Tina's. Despite seeing Mom and Tina's often on the way to school (their other branch right across Tiendesitas) this would also be my first time to try out the goods they offer.

Upon entering,
you are welcomed into a charming little bakeshop with a warm and cozy ambience.
A chiller filled with tempting baked goods of course helped haha!

Since we were in Katipunan,
it was a must to have blue iced tea in a land of blue..

My hearty lunch.. Roast Turkey!
Served with stuffing, veggies, mashed potato, and cranberry sauce
Amazing! Our family's somewhat particular with how turkey is cooked and I have to say that Mom and Tina's prepared the turkey perfectly! The meet was very tender and moist!
Loved the mashed potatoes!

For dessert, my friend ordered Sugar-Free Chocolate Fudge Cupcake
I however went deadly with mine..

I ordered the Beehive!

Who can say know to that face?!

I mainly ordered it because I was curious as to what was inside...
Moment of truth!

Inside was nirvana!
Basically they started things off with the Chocolate Fudge Cupcake...
From there they topped it off with mounds of marshmallow frosting which was then dipped in chocolate to seal in all they heavenly goodness.. Of course a Beehive would not be complete without a topping of a bee!

After all that..the only thing I could think of was "So why did I only eat here now??"
