Night cap in Insadong

Miss Lee Cafe

After two weeks of living in Seoul, it turns out we were still missing out on a common Korean past time which is hanging out in a cafe. Of course such a practice is common for us even back in MNL.. so it equally as big and common here in Seoul. The only difference is that coffee shops and cafes tend to have more personality than the ones back home.

Instead of going to the usual cafe chains..one should definitely try out local, quaint cafes for this very fun and intriguing atmosphere that just makes you want to stay there for hours and just get lost daydreaming and staring into nothing :D

We were very fortunate to have met up with our new friend, Cherish Bae, who is a popular theater actress here in Seoul. Cherish is also known back home as being a star of the Youtube series "MyKoreanBoyfriend" in which she and her friend make a parody of her experiences being a Filipino married to a Korean. It was Cherish's idea for us to try out Miss Lee Cafe which is located just by the entrance to Insadong.

Message Tree
Right in the middle of the cafe with message-filled branches extending all over the place!

If it was good enough for Yoona,
then it is definitely good enough for me!

Still full from our Bulgogi Jungol dinner..
we all just shared a tray of various rice crackers and sweets

What a way to end a spectacular weekend!
Just hanging out with great company in a cozy cafe munching on various treats!
