Pizza and Beer to end another eventful day of the Sisons'HongkongAdventure2013!
After a full day trip near Lantau Island, we were finally back in Tsim Sha Tsui just in time for dinner. Since we were kinda tired and a bit lazy..we needed something familiar and definitely comforting.. Pizza and Beer!!
First pint of the night...
Some salads while we wait..
Shrimp and Avocado Salad
Really like the combination of textures with this salad. Creamy, smooth avocado against the crunch lettuce and firm grilled shrimp.
Grilled Salmon and Artichoke with Arugula
Liked how the salmon was extra lemony as to balance the slight bitterness of the arugula.
Our 18 inch special which had everything on it!
Although cooked in a brick oven, Roccos pizza isnt your typical Italian pizza because the crust was not the usual thin, crisp style normally used for brick ovens because it gives you that charred flavor which some tend to look for with authentic Italian pizza.
I did like Roccos version though because it was sort of a cross between the thicker, American style crust, but with a slight crisp texture reminiscent of the Italian one. I think my family agrees since this was gone in a matter of seconds.
Prosciutto and Arugula
Our second, smaller order. I actually preferred this one because the combination of prosciutto and arugula had a more rustic feel.
Cheers to another awesome day!
