First night of Sisons'HongkongAdventure2013!

 King's Noodles and Dumplings for dinner!



Pork and Vegetable Dumplings

King's dumplings are similar to xiaolongbao in which they were wrapped and steamed in an specific way to contain soup inside the dumplings. I particularly found these dumplings more flavourful then the usual xiaolongbao which may be due to the abundance of vegetables.






Taro rolls filled with minced beef






Braised Beef Brisket Noodle Soup

Definitely doesn't look like the typical Chinese noodle soup since I'm more accustomed to the clear broth. King's version looked more vibrant than usual due to the addition of carrots and corn which did enhance the flavour of the broth.






Green Beans with Garlic and Oyster Sauce

I always found it amazing some can cook green beans perfectly like this. Slightly wilted on the outside but still having a crunch on the inside.
