Quickie: Pan Con Tomate


I went crazy for these suckers during our entire euro trip!

All you need to make Pan Con Tomate are two key ingredients: 
really good crusty bread and ripe tomatoes!

I used day old ciabatta from Raley's which I toasted til slightly brown and crisp. Once the bread is toasted to your liking, simple slice a tomato into two and then rub the cut side down on the warm bread. 
Others like to drizzle a little bit of olive oil while i stuck with just the tomatoes and then sprinkled a little bit of sea salt.

Simple yet exquisite!
