Yubuchobap

A cool find from the Korean supermarket

Was glad to have stumbled upon a pack of some frozen tofu packets while we were going around Manna because I've been looking for these for quite some time now.

I remember having this for breakfast when my host parents would make them for me back when I lived in Seoul. So it was a cool surprise to have found finally found them so that I can now make them here in the US.

Inside the package you would find two things; the tofu packets and another pouch filled with the seasonings you would need to mix in with rice

First you'd want to do it place the tofu packets in a strainer to drain out some of its storing liquid

In a bowl, take about a cup or two of cooked white rice (preferably warm) and mix in the rice seasonings. You could also add a little bit of Mirin to get a tangy sweetness.

Simply fill the tofu packets and you have instant Yubuchobap

So easy to make.. and even so much easier to eat!!

Have a good one!
