Sunfish Poke Bar

With poke restaurants taking over the south bay, I got really excited to find out that we would be getting our very own poke bar right here in Fremont. Sunfish Poke Bar came right at that perfect moment when sushi just seemed too heavy a meal and that having another salad bowl would mark my fifth visit to Chipotle in a span of seven days. Not that I'm complaining since I don't really mind having Chipotle for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Spring Mix Poke Bowl with Salmon, Hamachi, Spicy Tuna, Crab Salad, Edamame, and Furakake. Accompanied with  drizzling of both Spicy Ponzu and Creamy Miso. 

I was really happy with their generous serving portion and fresh seafood choices. We were also lucky to have paid them a visit when the premium toppings like the spicy tuna and crab were free add to your poke bowl or wrap.

Subspace's Crepe Cake

One of the things I look forward when visiting Dad's office is being able to drop by one of my favorite coffee shops, Subspace.

Luckily, I was able to make in just in time to buy the last slice of the new Crepe Cake. Layer upon layer of delicate crepe with a light, subtly sweet pastry creme in between and then finished of with just the right amount of chocolate ganache.

A light, delicate, yet very satisfying dessert!

The future of popcorn is here!

Was very intrigued upon seeing this bag of what I though was chips as a passed by Chef Tony's the other day.

Mixed with the classic flavors of Chef Tony's popcorns such as white cheddar, Popcorners tasted like flattened popcorn and form into the shape of chips. Its quite comparable to tofu chips but are less tough and much more crisp. 

A very good alternative to a tub of popcorn!
