First Cultural Lesson and Samgyupsal Dinner

Now for some more cultural experiences here in Seoul!

For today's schedule.. our group learned headed over to Chongdong Theater to learn Samul Nori, or traditional Korean precusion music.

Usually played in a group with four different instruments, we learned how to play the Janggu which is a traditional Korean drum with an hour-glass shaped body

Our group learning how to play the Janggu with our instructor who is part of the cast of Miso,
the main performance featured at the Chongdong Theater

Can't believe we got to actually "perform" on the same stage that Miso is shown!

The cast of Miso
it was pure chaos to try and take a picture with them 0.0

After the show.. our guide, Me Songsaengnim,
treated us to a Samgyupsal dinner

From my internet research, 새마을식당 is a famous restaurant chain in Seoul
(hope I got that right haha)

Samgyupsal dinner with all the works!

Look at the size of that meat!
