Namsan Seoul Tower

Snippets of our Day Trip...

Namsan Seoul Tower is a must whenever in Seoul!

Seoul has always made sure to integrate environmental and leisure spots all throughout the concrete jungle to still maintain some sense of nature within the city.

So even if there is an abundance of parks within the city, there still nothing like taking a break and enjoying a 360 degree view of Seoul while being 1,574 feet above sea level!

Samul Nori

We we're very lucky to have gone up when a cultural exhibition was being shown

Traditional Korean Sword Training Exhibition

Love Locks!

Feel free to write a message on any lock you have and fasten it on the wire fence!

Love Tiles!

Similar to the love locks..however these tiles aren't free haha

Elevators going up to the view deck

A scenic slideshow of the Seoul skyline while waiting for the elevators

Just awesome!!

Why can't elevators in office buildings have this? HAHA

Not a clear shot but this was a shot of the ceiling inside the elevator

Above us was an lcd screen playing a slideshow of a vortex depicting us seeming to be on board a spaceship traveling upwards towards the tip of the tower..
What an attention to detail!!

Manila..so near yet so far

Just one of the views of Seoul from the view deck

A treat after our little adventure!

Decisions.. decisions..

My Choice: German Chocolate Cake

Didn't use to be a big fan of coconut in cakes but after trying my first German chocolate cake
way back when, I was sold on the whole coconut-chocolate combination

Cold Stone was able to recreate those amazing flavors by mixing together
coconut, walnuts, and brownies pieces together with the ice cream.

I also liked how they opted to use hazelnut ice cream as the base rather than just chocolate, to keep things a bit lighter and not having an overpowering taste of chocolate

Off to our next stop!
