Fiorella's Jack Stack Barbecue

 The best barbecue in town!!

I should actually say best barbecue ever!


Just as I was en route to Kansas, everyone made sure to let me know that if there was one thing I had to try in Kansas was that it had to be barbecue. Luckily mt sister got me covered and after much research, she found the number 1 barbecue spot in Kansas.

So as my first day In kansas came to an end, we tried to close it with a bang by having dinner at Fiorella's Jack Stack Barbecue.

need I say more?

The warm, moody ambiance was far from what we expected from a barbecue joint..

Definitely way classier than the outdoor restaurant we envisioned with 10 barbecue grills lined up at the back lol.

Fire Kissed Wings to start things off

Beautifully charred chicken wings with a deep smoky flavor that give you a nice smack of heat on the lips.

Served with Fiorella's trademark barbecue sauce, you really to dip these bad boys in the barbecue sauce to mellow down some of the heat.

Crown Prime Beef Ribs

Said to be "the ultimate barbecue experience", the platter comes with three giant, well-marbled beef short ribs marinated in Fiorella's signature barbecue sauce. Perfectly grilled, the ribs just amazingly fall of the bones and continue to melt in your mouth. The beef was so soft, delicate, and actually velvety in texture that you actually had to use a fork to be able to get them because they just fall off the bone when you attempt to eat them with your fingers.

Served with a side of Hickory Pit Beans which Fiorella's take on what would seem like pork and beans, but cooked with the tangy barbecue sauce just melded perfectly with the flavors the the ribs. 

Another side which came with  ribs was the Cheesy Corn Bake which was my favorite. Imagine warm, creamy mac and cheese but replace the macaroni with corn. May seem sinful, but every but just seemed oh so heavenly.

Here's a picture of the 3rd short ribs that we brought back to our hotel room since we were too stuffed to finish them. So that's what they actually looked like lol! What a beauty!!

Fiorella's Jack Stack Barbecue definitely earned its right to be called the number 1 barbecue in town. The Crown Prime Beef Ribs were just soo amazing that they haunted me in my sleep. 

I could hop on a plane to Kansas City in a heartbeat any day just to have these ribs again..
