Banchan, we meet again!
Its been awhile since we actually ate Korean food at a restaurant since we usually just try to make them at home. But since our original dinner plans didnt go accordingly, we decided to give Miga a try which was just a couple of minutes away from our apartment.
Haemul Pajeon
Seafood Pancake! We never go to a Korean restaurant and not order this. Miga did a good job keeping the pancake batter fluffy and with just the right crisp exterior. Not to mention, Miga was also very generous with the amount of seafood that they incorporate into their haemul pajeon.
Short Rib Hot Stone Bibimbap
sweet and tangy marinated short ribs served on top of rice and veggies.
Bulgogi Bibimbap
I really liked the flavors of Miga's Bulgogi because it the marinade wasnt overly sweet, keeping the integrity of the beef.
Spicy Pork Bulgogi
Really loved this spicy pork dish! Right balance of something sweet mixed with a little bit of heat. It was so good, you'd want to eat the entire plate clean (and the bowl of rice that comes with it)
Boy am I thankful that our dinner plans fell through since we got to try Miga and had one really awesome Korean dinner. The dishes beautifully prepared, as if it was something an ajumma would have prepared for you in her own kitchen. I have a feeling this is going to be our new go-to place for a while..
Hope you're having a great Friday!
