Equipped with a highly successful commercial and even a $1.5 million dollar designer dress made in its honor, it was time to try out this golden frozen treat and see what all the hype was about.
A cold.. I mean Gold bar
Vanilla bean ice cream with a sea salt caramel swirl and rich , chocolate coating which is then painted gold.
May have appeared to ba the epitome of luxury, but boy did it taste..average.
Don't get me wrong, it tasted good just like how a Magnum bar should taste like. But I guess that was the problem, it tasted like the original magnum bar. The salted caramel swirl need a little bit more salt while the bar actually needed more caramel swirl.
I guess even if you dress it up in gold, it would always just be a chocolate coated vanilla ice cream bar...
