The Country Way

You know a place is really good when mom intently reads the menu lol!

Adjusting to jetlag pretty fast, the family and I were up bright and early on a Saturday morning to grab some brunch at the famous Country Way conveniently located in our neighborhood.

I say famous because family and friends always rave about this place and ask us if we have eaten here since its pretty close to our apartment. Since they would always have a confused look whenever I tell them no, it was about time that I got up early and tried this place out.

 Steak and Eggs

Large Sirloin Steaks cooked perfectly medium served with mounds of hash brown and sunny side up eggs.

A breakfast classic, this was definitely something you'd always find in a classic diner menu and Country Way does it exceptionally well.

Same goes for everything on their menu; Country Way is truly the place to go to for classic, good, diner food without the hustles and bustles that come with a diner chain.

Country Fried Steak

Tenderize steak, breaded and fried until crisp and golden. Served with hashbrown, eggs, and covered with white gravy.

My sisters diner favorite. I must say that Country Way did a really good job in getting the meat amazingly tender but without over tenderizing. Some diners tend to over tenderize the meat that the texture no longer feels as if you're eating steak but rather like a meatloaf... unfortunate but true.

Good old diner food to start the day!
