Brunch at Scott's

Sunday brunching

Bright and early on a Sunday morning, my cousins and I headed over to Oakland to check out Scott's Seafood Grill and Bar for their renowned Sunday Brunch (as told by Yelp lol)

Unlike the usual brunch, Scott's offered a buffet brunch with Jazz-y twist! Cajun inspired dishes mized with live Jazz music playing in the background

The Salmon Section!!

Orang Bourbon Glazed Salmon

My favorite among all of the salmon dishes thanks to the sweet yet tangy bourbon glaze!

Round 1: Everything Salmon

Lox with scallions and cream cheese. Orange Bourbon Glazed Salmon. Salmon Pot Pie. Scrambled Eggs with Salmon and cream cheese with a side of creamed spinach

Unlimited Mimosas

I know mom's gonna like this lol

instead of bread and butter, we were served Scott's famous dollar pancakes!

Round Two: Crab Cake Benedict

Meaty crab cakes topped with perfectly poached eggs

I actually liked how the just ditched the bread/biscuit which helped keep things lighter in a way

Round 3: Prime Rib with Caesar Salad

Although it may seem like a buffet staple, you still have to try Scott's take on Prime Rib because they oven roast their meet really well with the meat moist and tender

Final Round: Dessert

Creme Brulee. Blintz topped with Blueberries. Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

Overall, Scott's really earned it right for being one of the best brunch places in town. A very classy place which mixes comfort food/ brunch staples with a jazz-y/Cajun-y twist.

Definitely coming back for more!
