Lemon Glazed Sausages

the easiest way to satisfy and hot-sweet craving..

We always have those wierd cravings sometime... hot and cold cravings call for an affogato. Salty and sweet cravings sometimes call for french fries paired with a hot fudge sundae.

This time however, I had a craving for something hot, spicy, and sweet at the same time. Its during these instances when I head to the fridge for the essentials. Ergo, Lemon Glazed Sausages made with Smokey Cajun Sausages and a generous coating of lemon marmalade!

Yuja Cha

Also known as Korean Lemon Tea, is basically like a lemon marmalade but is mixed with hot water to create a very tangy and sweet comforting drink.

A staple in our house, you can also always substitute this with other jams or marmalade such as orange marmalade.

So for the Lemon Glazed Sausages..

Lemon Glazed Sausages

INGREDIENTS:

A few pieces of Cajun Sausages (or any spicy sausage such as Hot Italian Sausage)
A few tablespoons of Yuja Cha or Orange Marmalade

PROCEDURE:
-preheat your oven or oven toaster to broil at 400 degress

-On a baking sheet covered with foil, place the sausages and cut slits on the sausages without cutting them all the way through

-generously spoon over a couple of tablespoons of Yuja Cha or Marmalade

Try to get the marmalade in between the slits as much as possible

-Broil the sausages for up to 15 minutes or until golden and with the glaze bubbling

Serve on top of a fresh summer salad with a balsamic dressing

Craving Satisfied!!
