Wing Box

 Winging it

As per Thursday tradition, I met up with my cousins for our now weekly lunch. This time we headed of to Wing Box for some chicken wing fusion. Can you believe that even chicken wings now has a fusion??

 Liked the modern-industrial interiors

 Actually found this genius!

 Wing Box Sampler

Thai Basil Chili Wings. Red Sticky Korean Wings. Caramelized Tamarind Wings. Singaporean Street Wings

All were good but my favorites were the Thai Basil due to the fresh flavor the basil gave against the deep fried wings and of course the Red Sticky Korean Wings. I liked how they went against the usual sweet-spicy barbecue flavor that usual Korean wings have and actual used Ssamjjang as the main base for the sauce giving it a unique soybean flavor with just a slight sweetness.

 Garlic Fries

Although our order already came with fries, the table next to us ordered and we just couldn't resist so we ordered too. I think they used a whole bulb of garlic just for this one order!

What I really liked about Wing Box is that they;re not like other wing places in which the only thing that varies is the level of heat. At Wing Box, they really offer a wide array of flavors which make each order unique. I highly recommend a visit to this place.. Hopefully you'd take me with you!
