Bath.Stonehenge.Windsor

First Stop.. Bath

For our first full day in UK, our tour focused on seeing more of the countryside/suburban tourist spots making it a more relaxed, easy-going scenic route.

How witty!

Bath Abbey

Couldn't stop staring at the ceilings!

The best part of visiting old cathedrals/chapels is seeing the attention to detail that has been put when constructing these places. Who would have thought of making such an intricate metal grill for the heater?

The choir booth

Next stop..Stonehenge

Luckily it was lunch time!
Had our own "tailgate" party at the parking area before entering..

Freshest produce ever!

Turkey and egg salad sandwich with lettuce and cherry tomatoes
Went well with some smoked salami!

and then we saw it...

Breathtaking!
(although I thought they would be bigger hahaha)

Then we found ourselves in the beautiful town of Windsor

Windsor Castle

Unfortunately cameras were not allowed inside...
it really helped though in making us truly appreciate the ambience of the castle!

Of course a trip to the castle would not be complete without a picture with the Queen's guards!

A quick coffee stop before heading home!

Iced Americano :D

Capped the day of by spending some time with Bailey!!

The trips' definitely off to a great start. Now I can't wait to see more of what UK has to offer!
