Early start for the Sisons' Seoul Adventure 2013
After getting settled in the hotel (Ibis Myeongdong of course), the family and I started early for our walking tour of Seoul.
A leisurely stroll along Cheonggyecheon..
Gwanghwamun Square
First time to walk here this early in the morning and we found the place pretty deserted which actually made it easy to take pictures..
Gyeongbokgung
Lucky to catch the changing of guards!
As we were on our way out, of the palace, a couple of university students asked for our help to complete their homework. That's how we found ourselves dancing the Gwiyomi song in the middle of Gyeongbokgung 0.0
All part of the Seoul experience haha!
Insadong
my tour group got a little hungry, so bought them Hotteok as a snack
Everyone seemed to be in the mood for Hotteok
Freshly cooked Hotteok, which are sweet Korean pancakes filled with brown sugar, cinnamon, honey, and chopped peanuts.
This gave my group a much needed sugar boost!
more of Seoul to come!
