Boy's night out at Union Jack to finally start the weekend!

Here's some grub we had to pair with our beer..

 Lancashire Hotpot

A Brit Pub staple, lamb stew topped with thinly sliced potatoes which is placed in the over to bake all day long.

 Beautifully tender stew hiding under tons of crisp potato slices

Union Jack Tavern actually went an extra mile with the carbs, by serving the Lancashire hotpot on top of mashed potatoes.

 Being a Brit pub staple, I guess this is the Brit's answer to not having a hangover the next day since all those starches must soak up at least some of the alcohol that you drink at the pub.

Indian Beef Curry!

This is some serious Indian Curry!! The spices were very intense but not to fragrant or overpowering with just the perfect amount of heat. And the beef was fork tender and flavorful that it truly tasted like the dish had been stewing for hours. Who would have though you could find one of the best Indian curries at a British pub?!

Pudding topped with Vanilla Ice Cream

Pretty good! However the pudding was rather cake-like. Was expecting it to have a moist, custard-like consistency.
